This blog is not intended to be about me, but more about my dogs and chukar hunting. This has been my passion for the last 15 years. Family and friends are #1 to me, but my dogs come in a close second. I will post pictures of the past so maybe everyone can better understand why I have become a passionate chukar hunter. I hope you enjoy them half as much as I did experiencing them. Comments are always appreciated. We all need help in becoming better dog people, hunters and trainers.

Makes me wish the months pass quickly. Nice to be out instead of shoveling snow. Some greenup looks promising. The hills look just as steep.
Yes Greg. Lot's of promising signs for the upcoming season. The hills are actually steeper. I think that February moisture we had eroded away any flat spots. I get a little embarrassed when I look back at my videos and listen to my huffing and puffing.
Hey there. Relapsed chukar hunter. Dad is getting older (79) and still has a few goods years left and I know we need to begin again. Did you happen to hunt on lake owyhee? We have always loved the cast and blast, but last time we hunted there birds were no where to be found
Good for your dad. That is so cool he is still hitting the mountain. I did hunt the owyhees some and found it a little spotty. For some reason it seemed like the birds were further away from the reservoir earlier in the season and as the season progressed they were closer to the reservoir. Doesn't make much sense but that's what we found and the bird numbers were a little lower than the previous year for us. I hope you find a ton of birds next year. Your dad deserves it.
